Job Description:Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual to fill the

Supply Chain Manager

position. The Supply Chain Manager provides day-to-day leadership and direction to the team of Supplier Program Managers, Subcontract Managers, and Subcontract Administrators across Saab, Inc. and reports to the Director of Supply Chain.Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager will include:

Lead Supply Chain team members through planning, forecast and inventory management effortsSupport the development and implementation of planning and procurement improvement strategiesSupport the development of procurement training, the implementation of forecast tools, and reporting out on procurement metricsSupport the Senior Director and Director of Supply Chain in developing Supply Chain & Materials Management strategic initiatives and tools to enhance Supplier Scorecards, Supplier Sourcing & Development and Material Management across all US locations.Exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the Buying & Subcontracts, Material Handling and Planning teams.Support (and at times lead) Supply Chain initiatives including implementing policies, strategies and objectives, and ensure a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions.Develop and execute operational plans to meet Supply Chain & Material Management goalsBalance strategic thinking with tactical application.Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing, Program Management and Finance to create forecasts based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).Provide coaching to Supply Chain team members and direction on how to meet defined goals and objectives.Collaborate with Saab, AB and support Director and Senior Director of Supply Chain on Global Procurement Council activities and objectives.Compensation Range:

$120,800-$157,000The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.Skills and Experience:

Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)Advanced Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Leadership Experience over Buying and Planning TeamsContract negotiation experience for large DoD SubcontractsExperience with forecast and planning tools for MRP systemsAdvanced financial analysis capabilitiesExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams both domestic & internationalWillingness to travel up to 25% in support of Supply Chain objectivesMust be capable of obtaining a Secret level security clearance.4-year degree and 10 years Supply Chain, Logistics, Contracts and Material Management experience (or 7 with MBA), with a strategic planning and supplier management background.Desired Qualifications:

Global Supply Chain experienceExperience with ORACLE/ERP System ExperienceTechnical knowledge of related hardware applications as well as knowledge of operational and manufacturing processes (assembly, integration, and test)Previous Procurement/Subcontracts Management ExperienceContracts Negotiation, Planning & Forecasting ExperienceKnowledge of collaborative tools such as JIRA, Sharepoint, OneNote.Required Education:

BA in Business Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering-General or Industrial, Operations or other related field.Desired Education:

Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent.Citizenship Requirements:
