As part of the Gastro Care Partners family, Peak Gastroenterology Associates (Peak) is the fastest growing and largest gastroenterology practice in all of southern Colorado. Peak serves patients from all over the state with multiple locations and hospital partnerships throughout the Colorado Springs area.Peak is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Memorial Central, Memorial North, Penrose and St FrancisKey Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient consultations to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders.Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to provide integrated care.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education and research.Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventative care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient safety and care standards.Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.Valid medical license to practice in the state of Colorado.Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology.Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in outpatient gastroenterology practice.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package with partnership track.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology.
