As an IT Architect Specialist - Data Architecture, you’ll report to the Capital Markets - Head of Data Engineering and will work with various teams to determine how they can use their data to gather intelligence and build market ready solutions. You will be responsible for leading efforts to develop and deliver complex data products to accomplish technology and business goals.What you will be doing :ExpertiseSubject matter expert in Data Architecture, Data Integration, Data Persistence & Data Analytics platforms and well-architected patterns.Defines appropriate architecture principles and standards, patterns, blueprints, best practices and frameworks in the Data Architecture to support product development across the organization.Supports the design patterns for building Integrations - ETL/Streaming/Near RealtimeSupports the design patterns for building Data Models, Meta data layers leveraging Snowflake data warehouse platform.Supports the design patterns to build dashboards, reports, online analytics etc on cloud driven BI tools (Azure Power BI, AWS Quicksight etc) and standard BI tools (Tableau, SSRS etc)Supports the build of data technology capabilities and the migration of analytics artifacts from legacy solutions to modern platformsEnablementEngages various technology and product stakeholders and work through from business objectives to a solution design based on their unique product requirements.Designs architectures, functional solutions and implementation ready approaches for various FIS products and key initiatives to accelerate the build of BI Solutions.Creates architecture specifications and other design artifacts representing the approach and effect of new proposed solutionsFacilitate technical and business sessions required to alignn solution architecture with business and technology objectives throughout the development life cycleProvides implementation guidance to a variety of products and key Data initiatives throughout the product development life cycle.Work with the several Project teams to help align, implement, and accelerate the development. Manage POCs , design updates, product changes, project escalations.Platforms & TechnologyLead the development of standard Platforms that would provide various data technology capabilities (Integrations, Data Persistence, Data Computation, Orchestration, Analytics, AIML, Governance)Develop cost effective scalable and future proofing infrastructure solutions based on the requirements for product services that covers both functional and non-functional requirements.Support application level integrations from a variety of source systems (cloud and non-cloud applications)Manages the operating model for the platform teams to onboard, build and support the roll out of products.LeadershipManage a team of resources that would maintain and support the central platforms.Define clear and concise objectives for the architects and developers to enable the product level implementationsProvide the thought leadership and support the evolution of product roadmapsEngage strategic vendors and streamline the relationships for appropriate tool usage across the organization.Communities of PracticeProvide educational/mentoring resources to various teams and resourcesLead the evolution of Community of Data & AIML Practitioners across the organization.Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences.Documents opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.Defines, constructs, supports and provides training for enterprise frameworkDemonstrate strong understanding of the business objectives of projects, and align the reporting solutions accordinglyParticipate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives as a Business Intelligence and Analytics subject matter specialistWhat you will need:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESExpert at using some of the ETL & Streaming tools ADF, Glue, Adeptia, Talend, Informatica, Kafka etcExperience with data modelling, building data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc)Expert at using some of the BI reporting tools such as Tableau, SSRS, Power BI, Quicksight, Looker, MicroStrategy, BusinessObjects, ThoughtSpot or any otherHands on experience with database operations, db optimizations, querying, query optimizations, profiling in both ER driven (such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, PosgreSQL etC) and NoSQL database systems (MongoDb,CosmosDB etc)Familiarity with the Data Science models and Machine Learning engineering practices.Experience working with Identity & Access Management (IAM) on architecture strategies for integrating with applications.Expertise with end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.Experience designing and implementing applications in a shared service environment.A bachelor’s in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience – post-graduate education desired.Added bonus if you have Certification(s)Snowflake: SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer orMicrosoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator or Associate Azure Data Engineer Associate orAWS Certified - AWS Certified Data Engineer - AssociateWhat we offer you:At FIS, we hire the best.
