Hospitalist Admitting Service

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Seeking additional full-time Hospitalists to be a part of the hospitalist team at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Department of 14 full-time hospitalists.

Excellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance.

No procedures required

Specialty and Intensivist support

Two admitting services scheduled per day 7 days / week

0730-1930: Responsible for emergency department admission and consults

0900-2100: Responsible for working closely with our One Call / HS team taking transfers to the Hospital, direct admissions, and supporting the Essentia Health Hospital Care at Home patients via virtual visits.

Twelve-hour shifts for 26 weeks per year

REQUIREMENTS

BC/BE in Internal Medicine

BC/BE in Family Medicine with strong interest and experience in hospital-based care (opportunity for mentorship)

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team orientation

LOCATION

Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota

3.5 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul

Fargo-Moorhead population: 200,000

Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals
