Corporate Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago is seeking a Corporate (Finance) Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in corporate and transactional law, specifically focused on Finance & Banking. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and analytical skills, a strong academic background, and must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction.Duties:Provide legal counsel on a wide range of corporate finance matters, with a focus on transactions in the Finance & Banking sector.Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements and documents related to finance transactions, including loan agreements, credit facilities, securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis in finance transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.Assist in structuring complex finance transactions and advising clients on legal and regulatory implications.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute legal strategies that meet business objectives.Handle legal research and analysis to support client advice and prepare legal opinions.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Illinois (or eligibility for admission by waiver or examination).3-4 years of experience practicing corporate and transactional law, with a specific focus on Finance & Banking.Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, including lending, secured transactions, and financial regulations.Excellent writing and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Illinois (or eligibility for admission).Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating corporate finance agreements and documents.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.Company infoBCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicagoIllinoisUnited States 60606Phone :
