Description:
You will join the Litigation & Competition Law Group as Principal Corporate Counsel.In this role, you will:Provide strategic antitrust advice and counsel on all aspects of antitrust lawAssist in managing responses to agency requests and discovery in litigationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal Sales Team and the M&A Legal and Corporate Development teamsSupport compliance efforts, including by creating and delivering training and crafting compliance tools for Cisco’s global legal and business teamsMonitor and advise regarding legal developments in the field of antitrust and competition lawBar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing, with a minimum of 5+ years at a law firm, in-house, or with a government agencyKnowledge of US antitrust law and interest in learning moreThe ability to synthesize complex issues, think strategically and give practical adviceStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an affinity for working collaboratively and positively with colleagues across functionsStrong organizational skills, and proven ability to optimally handle a fluid working environment, including changes in priorities, deadlines, and workloadExperience with M&A transactions and/or antitrust expertise in jurisdictions outside the US is a plus, as is experience in the technology industry.
