F1 Arcade is seeking a dedicated Event Manager to join our Washington, D.C. team. As an Event Manager, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and managing our exciting events, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed.
What You Will Do:
Complete event closeouts, meticulously checking agreements and payments to ensure accuracy, and reporting any discrepancies to the Event Sales Manager. Organize and file closeout paperwork systematically for easy accessibility when needed. Prepare event packets in advance for pop-ups and information folders for walk-in tours, ensuring they are readily available. Identify any discrepancies between event schedules and prepared event packets, promptly informing the Event Sales Manager. Review and print Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for the kitchen team and sales team meetings for upcoming events. Assist the event sales team in managing client inquiries and bookings, providing excellent customer service and addressing client queries and concerns promptly. Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling and room setup, to ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations. Communicate effectively with clients to gather event requirements and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience.
Position Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with critical skills and experience including strong organizational and administrative capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have familiarity with booking systems. Previous experience in event coordination or administrative roles would be advantageous, along with at least 1 year of experience in sales or events-related functions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Candidates should be adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and working collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules, is essential.
