This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to oversee CNC operations, applications, programming and design activities. Program, setup and run 3-axis vertical CNC Mills in a low-volume / high-mix workflowCut material, set fixtures, build tooling, run programs, deburr and finish partsMachine complex components to tight tolerances in materials with tight deadlinesUse inspection and measurement tools to validate your workDocument and track of machine processes and results when necessaryProvide feedback to engineers, senior machinists and programmers on design and process improvementCollaborate with engineers and fellow team members to provide input on design and manufacturabilityCommunicate with engineers, management, and other team members; verbal, email, direct message, and phone callsMaintain a clean and organized workspacePerform all tasks in accordance with safety policiesParticipate in continuous improvement projects for Bantam ToolsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
A minimum of 3 years of experience with programmingMust be well versed in 3 axis CNC machinesAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsRoot cause analysis and problem solvingExperience with CAD/CAM, 3D ModelingCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time position located in Peekskill, NY. Compensation is competitive, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits, paid holidays, and accrued paid time off.ABOUT
