Job Description
This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform:You could expect the position of receiving clerk to include the following:
DUTIES:
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.• Unload trucks with use of forklift or power jack• Follow company guidelines when using power equipment• Have a basic knowledge of Word and Excel; be able to navigate programs; print invoices• DEX vendor invoices for incoming product (involves plugging DEX unit into computer jack to view and print invoices)• Exercise discretion while handling confidential information• Verify item count received with invoices; i.e. number of cases ,etc.• Handle damaged product and product returns• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
TRAINING
Training will be provided at store level.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
BendingStoopingAble to stock 50 cases per hourAble to pull loaded stock truckMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsWorking on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
Additional Requirements - Internal candidates:Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
