The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in privacy, cybersecurity, and/or technology company matters, with experience in regulatory counseling, compliance, government investigations, and related litigation. Knowledge of Federal Trade Commission consumer protection-related regulatory matters is desirable.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on privacy, cybersecurity, and data innovation matters.Advise clients on regulatory compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.Assist in developing and implementing data protection and cybersecurity policies and procedures.Conduct internal investigations and respond to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents.Represent clients in government investigations and enforcement actions related to privacy and cybersecurity.Draft and negotiate privacy and data protection agreements, including data processing agreements and privacy policies.Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in privacy, cybersecurity, and data innovation laws and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and achieve client objectives.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in CO.4-9 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and/or technology company matters.Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and FTC regulations.Experience in regulatory counseling, compliance, and government investigations.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in CO.Skills:In-depth knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and data innovation laws and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in regulatory counseling and compliance.Ability to handle complex legal matters and manage multiple priorities.Team player with a collaborative mindset.Company infoBCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicagoIllinoisUnited States 60606Phone :
