Supportive Work Environment and Collaboration:Work collaboratively with ICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care for your patients. Our ICU is well-equipped with advanced monitoring technology and staffed by a team of dedicated professionals, including charge nurses, EKG technicians, echocardiogram technicians, and electroencephalogram technicians.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for critically ill patients in the ICU.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and condition.Perform essential critical care procedures, including central line placement, hemodialysis catheter placement, arterial line placement, endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement (both medical and surgical), lumbar punctures, and bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL).Continuously monitor and manage critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical records system.Participate in patient rounds and discussions to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications for Success:Current board certification in critical care medicine is mandatory.Valid and active state medical license is required.Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care medicine is preferred.Demonstrated experience performing the listed essential critical care procedures is required.Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial.The ability to work independently while leading a team in a fast-paced and critical care environment is essential.
