Job Description - Director of Product ManagementThe Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution, including assessing customer needs, analyzing cybersecurity market trends, and prioritizing product requirements on behalf of the users. The product manager will serve as the contextual expert, defining the product vision, and collaborating with engineering, sales, and marketing to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must have direct or indirect experience with MSP/MSSP/RMM markets, develop business cases, GTM strategy, and product requirements for products in this market.Desired experience in building public cloud, SaaS services, and MSP/MSSP/channel.Experience working with product management and engineering to build data services for enterprises moving to the cloud.Built a new revenue GTM strategy and team focused on public cloud and SaaS services.Demonstrate knowledge of the malware protection and Antivirus industry.Own the product roadmap, including feature definition and prioritization.Author Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) based on market research, user feedback, and industry sources.Create business cases for new product proposals including market sizing, user personas, competitive analysis, UX, sales strategy, and channel strategy.Facilitate partnerships and licensing opportunities.Be a subject matter expert in the industry and competition.Deliver quarterly updates on product functionality versus the competition.Understand emerging industry trends.Understand customer workflows and translate needs into user stories.Requirements:7+ years of software industry experience with 4 years in cybersecurity or incident response.2+ years of Product Management experience in the AV space.2+ years of experience in agile product development methodology.Knowledge of modern malware exploit technologies and defenses.Strong PRD writing skills.Ability to communicate technical problems in non-technical terms.Knowledge of basic operating systems and network architecture.Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience.Willingness to travel up to 30%.Desired:Product and/or technology strategy experience.MBA degree is a plus.VIPRE Security is an AA/EOE/Vets/Disabled employer.
