As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be a part of The Discovery Analytics Team (DAT) helping to develop and maintain a large suite of custom analytic and UI based software tools. These tools are used to aid operators and analysts with quickly identifying and thwarting threats from their adversaries. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and other DAT team members to create and maintain UI based tools that help address important mission issues. You will also gain experience in SIGINT collection and analysis systems, analyzing cyber security-related data sets, developing UIs with 508 compliances in mind, and network protocols.

Responsibilities:
Understand the customers mission, collaborate with team members, gather user requirements, and automate workflowsRespond to software shortcomings reported by users of existing applicationsGather requirements and rapidly develop new prototype tools/solutions that help customers do their jobs more efficiently
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)8 years of experience in Software EngineeringExperience with some combination of UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, DevOps, or data science experience with a heavier interest/experience in UI and frontend, as teams are small and cross-functionalExperience developing with UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.)Experience writing scripts and services in PythonExperience with JavaScript/HTML/CSSUnderstanding of basic Containerization in DockerFamiliarity with Relational Databases (Postgres, SQLite, etc.), GitLab (CI/CD), and Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, IOS, or Android)
