Parks & RecreationThe Town of Sebago seeks a talented individual to oversee our Parks and Recreation Department. This is a full-time position at an annual salary of $52,500.00 with full benefits. Experience in coordinating various athletic programs and events as well as working with a recreation committee would be helpful. The Recreation Director is a department head position reporting directly to the Town Manager. The Director is responsible for designing, organizing, implementing, and supervising a wide variety of recreational and educational activities, special events, programs, and day-to-day operation of the Parks and Recreation Department. Work is performed during normal office hours and during evenings and weekends as required.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation or Leisure Service Management or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Five (5) years experience in parks and recreation management is desirable.
