Gilbane is seeking a Senior Project Executive to be a representative of the Company responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome initially of a significant (appx $4B), five year healthcare project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Executives. This role will sit primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc. Note that this initial project is located in Rochester, MN.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Project Execution of Safety Requirements in collaboration with Safety Director/PXManage ensure that Gilbane's operational policies, including non-negotiables, are consistently followed on all projects per the Baseline.Monitor overall performance of projects cradle to grave, including:Implement and drive risk management strategies, track status and see through to resolutionDevelop mitigation plans when neededImplement effective project review processEnsure Risk Assessment Forms are updated by PX's quarterlyLead by example as PX (pending needs and scale of business)Serve as PX when necessary on challenging projectsDirect and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.Enforce project reporting requirementsManage critical issuesAssume overall accountability for jobsite safety and qualityMentor Project ExecutivesControl and administer the 'people resources' including:Recruiting and hiringLong and short-range staff planning of assignments and transfersManaging recoveriesMentoring, coaching and developing all employees, including career development for emerging leadersProactively manage performance/terminationsEnsure that employees complete required training on timeEnsure that the appraisal process is completed on time and that managers are having meaningful development conversationsReview and recommend appropriate compensation and incentive payoutsQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management10-15 years in the lead role on healthcare projects valued at $300 million or largerOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong technical and communication skills are criticalAbility to work in a team environmentLeadership and management skillsKnowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
