team, a group of skilled professionals focused on developing software and services that enable site launch and daily drone delivery operations. Comprising talented software engineers, product managers, solution managers and designers, the team specializes in creating scalable, efficient, and secure backend infrastructure that drives Wing's business. The Technical Services Team is dedicated to revolutionizing drone delivery and infrastructure through innovative technology and collaboration.Joining the Technology Services Team means contributing to the development of cutting-edge drone delivery platforms and making a significant impact on the future of last mile delivery worldwide.What You’ll Do:Develop, maintain, and optimize backend software to manage our drone delivery fleet and infrastructure, primarily using C++ and other relevant programming languagesDesign and implement scalable and reliable software solutions to support the core functionalities of our drone delivery service, including payload management, and real-time trackingCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, hardware engineers, solution managers and product managers, to enable site launch and daily operationsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and internal coding standardsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the performance and stability of our drone delivery platformContinuously evaluate and optimize the platform's architecture to meet evolving business needs and ensure high levels of scalability and securityParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharingWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in backend software development using C++ and other relevant programming languagesStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principlesFamiliarity with multi-threading, networking, and database management systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated and proactive, with a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the development of cutting-edge drone delivery solutions.Bonus:Experience with drone technology, robotics, or a related field is a plusExperience with fleet management or logistics software is a plusAt Wing, we don’t just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
