Senior Data Scientist

What you’ll do:Work within a small but growing team of data professionals to identify problems and opportunities and drive them to conclusion.Design and implement software to collect and organize data from our fleet of autonomous robots for maximal utility.Optimize data storage and retrieval systems to ensure high performance, scalability, and data integrity.Develop insights about our business in the form of reports, models, and visualizations to support Fox Robotics and our customers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations to understand data requirements and develop data models that facilitate advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.What you’ll need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Architect, Engineer, or similar role, using data to inform strategy and drive day-to-day business decisions.Proficient in SQL and Python.Experience in implementing data governance practices and ensuring data quality and integrity.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Nice to have:Nice to have worked with robotics or an adjacent field.Experience with the full software development life cycle, including software design, code review, testing, and deployment.Experience with one or more business intelligence platforms or data visualization libraries/frameworks.
