Job DescriptionYour CareerAs a member of the Palo Alto Networks Services Sales team, the successful Sr. Service Sales Manager will be responsible for partnering with Account Managers to sell value-added services. These services include Consulting Services, Focused Services (TAMs and Designated Engineers) Premium Customer Success and Resident Engineers.The successful candidate will be employing world-class account management, collaboration and strategic selling skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within Enterprise and Major Accounts. The candidate should be a highly competent presenter, with a demonstrable track record of selling services to C level executives. The position reports into the Manager of Service Sales.Your ImpactWorking as a team with a Services Sales Systems Engineer to support a large team of Strata, Prisma and Cortex Account ManagersAligning your service offering recommendations with the desired customer outcomesPartnering with our delivery organization to ensure an accurate forecast of resource types and skill setsProven experience selling services to large enterprise companies and successful results working in a sales overlay role in a IT manufacturer is desiredDomestic travel is required (travel is paused now due to COVID)

QualificationsYour ExperienceBS technical degree or equivalent or equivalent military experience required10+ years of sales experience working within IT manufacturer and/or consulting organizationsSelf motivated and detail orientedAbility to facilitate in person and virtual workshops with client cross functional resources to develop 3 - 5 year strategic services roadmapsStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsSuperb organizational and prioritization skills'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performanceExperience working with Channel partners and an understanding of a channel centric go to market approachKnowledge of network infrastructure based security appliances, including but not limited to - Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies, Cloud environments including ASW, Azure and GCP and SOC environments

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $232,100/yr to $319,100/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
