Overview:
The Alarms team builds products to prevent crime and keep people safe in emergencies. Thousands of customers use our devices, software, and virtual guard service to detect and respond to immediate threats ranging from criminal activity to environmental disasters. We're looking for an experienced product leader to scale our Alarms product to become the market leader in a huge market – nearly $30B in annual spend. Web and mobile interfaces:
The core Alarm software platform, including site configuration, alarm rules engine, and user managementRemote monitoring:
Support for remote agents to review and respond to threats, including dispatching first respondersIncident Management and Reporting:
Helping customers manage system health and gain insights from historical eventsHardware:
Wired and wireless sensors to detect threats, and keypads to arm/disarm and manage the systemResponsibilities:
Lead a dedicated team of engineers and designers to tackle a massive product categoryDeeply understand current customer use cases and challenges with existing solutionsDevelop and drive our Alarms roadmap to become the #1 player in the categoryDefine the feature set and offering that will help our customers protect their people and propertyLaunch into our established sales channel and reseller network. Own pricing, go-to-market positioning, and sales trainingRequirements:
8+ years of experience in product leadershipUndergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optionalProven history of launching and scaling new products.
