SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting ManagerOur client is a leading producer of networking hardware for consumers, businesses, and service providers. With a global reach, our client offers wired and wireless devices tailored to diverse geographic regions and sectors.Responsibilities - Accounting:Prepare external financial reporting, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and other required filings. Review XBRL submissions.Compile the quarterly management reporting package.Assist in preparing the earnings release and review financial information included in the release and script.Contribute to the preparation of definitive proxy statements.Manage the quarterly/annual SEC reporting folder, ensuring alignment with relevant SEC forms and approvals.Participate in the quarterly close process, including technical accounting journal entries, reconciliations, cash flow statements, and weighted shares calculations.Support and coordinate with external auditors during reviews and annual audits.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Tax and Legal.Ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements, evaluating the impact of recent pronouncements.Prepare governmental surveys and conduct ad-hoc technical accounting analyses.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.CPA or equivalent preferred.5-7 years of experience.Big 4 public accounting background (preferred).Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP, SOX 404, SEC reporting standards).Analytical skills with high attention to detail.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.Hands-on experience with SEC reporting software (a plus).Self-motivated with strong work ethics.Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.Process improvement mindset.Compensation:Determining compensation for this role at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location, and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $120K - $160K per year + bonus.Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages applications from a variety of backgrounds.
