The Senior Data Engineer contributes and leads the design, development, integrations, and management of Echo’s large scale data solutions while supporting the strategic architectural vision of quality, scalability, performance, and function.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, integrate, and manage Echo’s large scale data solutions including data storage, data modeling, ETL, data querying, and reportingShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the data engineering communityWork with both on-prem data environment and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.Lead in the research, evaluation, operational usage and building of relational and non sql solutionsUtilize programming languages like .Net, Python, T-SQL, RDBMS, Open Source and NoSQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and a variety of AWS tools and servicesPosition Requirements:5+ years of professional data engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, T-SQL, PostgresSQL.
