The position holder responsible to driving cross-functional Digital Product Programs, and capabilities from initial concept to market launch that drive the Consumer strategic objectives.You will set Digital Product strategy, evaluate ideas, prioritize features, define releases with R&D, manage product roadmap, timelines, budget, coordinate and drive ADC worldwide R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial activities associated with these projects.What You'll Work OnDevelops strategy, prioritization, and plans for improving consumer experiences in hardware, mobile / web products and servicesFormulates, harmonizes and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts from R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functionsConfirms the ongoing strategic rationale and value proposition for projectsLeads project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of projectsEnsures Division-wide thinking and problem-solving are incorporated into project executionDrives for resolution in cross-functional problem solving, communication, and integrationLiaises with other Project Owners, functional managers, and management to prioritize activities across programs to balance resource availability, program deliverables, schedule, and business needsLiaises with other Project Owners, functional managers, and management to monitor business processesExecutes programs to completion and assures successful market entry, or makes a timely recommendation to Management to terminate a program if required by technical, commercial or other developments that may result in project failure if not resolved through creative problem solvingHas the flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive product launch schedulesEnsures that the cross-functional members work as a “team” focused on business unit goals identified and managing program and solution interdependenciesConducts review meetings with Country AffiliatesSupports product rollout and geographic expansionChampions PMO best practices to drive better project planning, execution, project prioritization and change management within Commercial ProgramsEstablishes and monitors KPIs to assess delivery performanceIdentifies areas for process improvement, and defines and implements solutions, liaising with other stakeholders such as Project Owners, functional managers and senior management as appropriateAccountability:Responsible for strategic scoping, value definition, and successful and timely implementation of product commercialization projectsAccountable for liaising with senior management in driving alignment on key decisions, and reporting to senior management on project statusAccountable for driving scope, budget, and quality tradeoffs, not only for a given project, but across portfolio in conjunction with other stakeholders to optimize portfolio value creationLimited, direct fiscal responsibility for departmental expenses and indirect responsibility, along with departmental budget holders, for ensuring that functional budgets are consistent with project scope and plansResponsible for direct reports, but mostly responsible for leading a matrixed team with to ensure that the team is appropriately resourced and that team members are defining plans and adhering to commitmentsRequired QualificationsMinimum 7 years experience as a Project Director/Project Manager in a medical device or software company, preferably including experience with consumer-focused products.Preferred QualificationsTypically, the incumbent would have a Bachelors or Master's degree in a business or a technical discipline.Technical background in engineering, computer science, chemistry or physics preferred.MBA desirable.Experience with hardware and software development of complex systemsCross-functional experience in the areas of R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Manufacturing are desired.Knowledge of regulations and standards related to medical devices is a plus (eg FDA, ISO, QSR design controls).Demonstrated track record of successfully managing medical device / software projects from concept to market.Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization within a variety of departments.Strong leadership, and the ability to collect information from multiple sources, and synthesize, integrate, and resolve conflicting requirements and cross-functional issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills 8. Excellent negotiation and influence skills.Has expertise in working with external suppliers, partners and/or customers.Proficient with use of various software applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Powerpoint.Experience in Medical Health Records and sensitive data processingExperience in Project Management tools such as MS Project, Product Board or JIRAAbility to travel up to 20%Apply Now
