The Litigation Associate Attorney will represent clients in civil and criminal litigation matters. They will conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) and strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Duties:
Represent clients in civil and criminal litigationConduct legal research and analysisDraft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the CourtAttend Court hearings and trialsAssist senior attorneys with case management and strategyRequirements:
Admission to the Vermont BarExperience with civil and criminal litigationStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation & Certifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Vermont BarSkills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience with civil and criminal litigationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working with the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) is preferredBenefits offered:
