Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller furry animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
Perform small animal dental, spay and neuter procedures
Administer vaccinations.
Administer vaccinations
Prescribe medication
Collaborate with mobile surgical and internal medicine specialists
Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
Update client records
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Previous work experience as a veterinarian. We also will consider new graduates and grow your hands-on skills with mentorship support.
Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
Problem-solving skills
USDA accreditation for interstate and international health certificates
Patience and a love for animals
