Japanese Consulting Firm seeks a Japanese Bilingual Strategy Consulting Senior Consultant.
Overview:We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong business sense and analytical skills to join our expanding Strategy Consulting Team in the US. You will be exposed to clients' top managements from various industries and assist them in data-driven strategy recommendation formulation related to overseas business expansion, business restructuring, mainly in North America, and other Asia Pacific countries including Japan. The job provides a good opportunity for candidates to enter and grow a career in the business consulting industry with promising career potential as future senior management of the company. Exposure to not only the US market but also markets like APAC, India, and other high-growth regions, as well as exposure to diverse industries based on various consulting engagements. Exposure to top management of clients to understand their issues and support closely the decision-making process.

Responsibilities and Job Description:The Strategy Unit's team, of which you will be a part, manages a wide range of client engagements relevant to Strategy consulting projects, including:Market research, Market entry & business development, strategic planning related consultingBusiness Due Diligence, Joint venture, business partnership related support consultingTurnaround & Restructuring consulting, corporate governance consultingKey Job Description:As a senior consultant, you are expected to lead project execution and lead a small team of consultants assigned to the project, especially on the following job scope:Conduct market & industry research, competitive analysis research, regulatory research in related industries according to client's requirement, including secondary research and primary research (expert interview, player interviews, survey, etc)Conduct financial and business analysis of the client's company as necessaryConduct analysis and formulate strategic recommendations based on the research and business analysis results to the clientMake and present a strong and convincing business case story and strategy recommendation to the clientWrite reports as deliverables to the client, mainly in Microsoft PowerPointLiaising with other team members (Japan, Singapore, and other APAC) for project executionOther works required for project execution and deliverables to the clientRequirements:• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in management consulting firm, market research firm, corporate planning roles. (3 years for Strategy Consulting Firm)• Experience working in the US (Residency preferred)• Business mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to present solutions to complex problems in a logical and step-by-step manner in various industries• Academic background in business field (accounting & finance, marketing) is an advantage• Business level Japanese language proficiency (N1 and above) is required, as the work requires communication with Japan team members and clients• Spanish and proficiency in other languages are advantageous• Professional mindset with a high sense of responsibility toward the client• Strong attitude towards learning new things beyond his/her comfort zone• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
