Matt@FindenSearch.comThe Role:Reporting to the VP of Compensation & Benefits, the Executive Compensation Director manages the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and reporting of our compensation programs, including executive compensation and equity. The position is based in Arlington, VA and we currently operate on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leads the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation programs, including base salary, bonus and stock compensation, ensuring internal equity and external competitivenessReviews salary and total compensation ranges to ensure competitiveness with the external marketManages the annual year-end compensation planning process by working with various leaders to assist them with merit, bonus, and long-term incentives recommendations and compiling summary reports for the CEO and executive leadershipDevelops materials and supporting analysis for presentations to the Compensation CommitteePrepares compensation discussion & analysis (CD&A) and the various compensation tables (including the pay versus performance table) in the annual proxy statementPrepares compensation analyses and guidance related to off-cycle compensation adjustments, promotions, new hires and severance calculationsOversees administration of Board of Director compensation including quarterly and annual retainers, dividend payments and tracking company holdingsAssists with the review of Forms 3, 4, and 5 as well as partners with Financial Reporting to reconcile and confirm stock-based compensation disclosures in Forms 10-K and 10-QLeads job architecture discussions with various leaders at the Company and helps with the implementation of job architecture at ClientAssists with the design, communication and administration of the Employee Stock Purchase PlanPossess knowledge of FLSA regulationsThe ideal candidate will be highly analytical, have strong attention to detail and is extremely self-motivated. In addition, they will be process oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree in related field plus at least eight years of compensation experience at a publicly traded company. Certified Compensation Professional (CEP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certifications preferredPossesses strong knowledge of executive and equity compensation plan design and administrationDemonstrates analytical skills, high level of attention to detail, and quality assurance of work productsExperience with Workday CompensationEffectively manages multiple prioritiesCommits to excellence in service and client relationship managementWorks independently as well as collaborates with HR colleagues, senior management, and business unit leaders
