As a
Cloud Administrator , you must have at least 7+ years of experienceBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field and 4+ years’ experience in managing compute environments. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.• Proficiency in both Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems.•Proficiency in managing IaaS/SaaS resources in a cloud environment.Note:
Cloud Administrator Public Trust REMOTE (DC area preferred, as they would like the you to come in for a quarterly meeting).Primary Responsibilities:• System administration tasks for both Linux and Windows server based systems including provisioning, deprovisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and executing platform upgrades.• Plan, coordinate, and execute successful patching of operating systems and installed applications.• Monitor and optimize cloud storage costs and efficiency, employing FinOps strategies to ensure cost-effective resource utilization.• Develop, deploy, and manage scalable and secure data pipelines according to Zero Trust principles• Implement automation using PowerShell, YAML, JSON, Bash, or other tools to streamline operational processes.• Identity Governance• Perform user account onboarding/offboarding and managing proper role-based access controls in both Active Directory and in the cloud.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or EquivalentExperience:
