Position Summary :

The Senior Manager, Database and Reporting is an integral member of the Philanthropic, Outreach, and Engagement team within the Global Relationships and Resources Department. As a subject matter expert, s/he is solely responsible for the administration, management and continual optimization of the organization's primary fundraising database, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.

Responsibilities:

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Provide critical management and focused analytics using high-level data analysis and synthesis of information to guide decision making.

Through analytics, contribute to critical business development and fundraising decisions.

Develop and maintain dynamic global dashboard with up-to-date information and reporting metrics.

Generate strategic analysis reporting to include identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Manage and generate weekly files for direct and digital mailings.

Develop and execute complex queries and reports, import/export data and ensure global updates.

Manage the Power BI platform and ensure its accuracy.

Serve as the organization subject matter expert on customer relationship management (CRM) databases.

End User Oversight and Support:

Design, implement and conduct database training for new and existing users.

Routinely identify training needs and develop written user guides.

Serve as the first line of support for technical needs; troubleshoot user issues and engage external support when needed.

Manage and ensure users follow proper security protocol procedure guidelines to include working with users throughout the team, across other departments, and third-party product and service providers.

Convene and lead a power users' group across the organization to include cross-training and securing back-up database administration/management to ensure continual high-quality services in the Senior Manager's absence.

Proactively identify areas for efficiency and optimization to maximize the database.

Data Quality and Reliability:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, procedures and policies for database use and management.

Monitor database regularly and perform routine data cleanup and maintenance to ensure data integrity.

Develop tools and resources that reflect the status of past, present and future database work.

Meet with users who request data to ensure data output is accurate.

Stay up to date on the latest features and functionalities and propose enhancements to optimize use and recommend new technical solutions when needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 7 years relevant work experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Progressively responsible experience in data analytics, database management and reporting.

Demonstrated success in CRM management including Raiser's Edge.

Ability to think critically while also providing innovation to database management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with using Omatic software Plug-Ins.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to contribute to business development and fundraising decisions.

Physical and Mental Requirements :

The physical requirements that may be needed to execute responsibilities may include bending, standing, and walking, etc.

Working Conditions, Travel and Environment:

Corus has a hybrid work policy, allowing work to be done remotely; 2-3 days/week minimum in the office is required. The employee must be available to work outside normal office hours or on the weekends as required.

This position must be able to travel as required for standard domestic business purposes.

If applicable, must have authorization to work in the country of assignment.
