UCI Health serves a region of nearly 4 million people in Orange County, western Riverside County and southeast Los Angeles County.To learn more about UCI Health, visit www.ucihealth.org.Responsibilities:Position Summary:Assists procedural physician (i.e. interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, and interventional cardiologist) in performing angiographic and/or special procedures for the adult and geriatric patient. Preps room and patient using strict sterile technique. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimal patient care. Must be able to operate and perform diagnostic and C-arm procedures utilizing these systems. Ensures proper charges are captured on a daily basis. Able to do diagnostic procedures as needed. Extended duty and on call time may be required as needed. In addition, will be required to perform diagnostic imaging and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:California CRT and Fluoroscopy required.A.R.R.T. preferred.Venipuncture license required.BLS and ACLS required.Basic dyshythmia course required.Hemodynamic monitoring class preferred.Completion of an intra-aortic balloon pump class.Completion of yearly supplemental competency validation.Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.Knowledgeable in the use of various angio supplies. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize angio suite work flow. Must be able to read, write and speak English.Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
