Senior Drupal Back-End Software Application DeveloperVAVaultes is a forward leaning cybersecurity and digital services company solving complex problems within the Federal government.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drupal Back-End Software Applications Developer to join our team on a government project.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of back-end applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. This role requires extensive technical expertise and a proven track record in software development.Location:Onsite in Richmond, Virginia metro area (Fort Gregg-Adams) with potential telework 1-2 days per week.RequirementsResponsibilities:Design, create, test, and maintain responsive websites using web development tools.Interact with the team to gather, define, and analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy business needs.Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.Design, test, and integrate system and enterprise software and multi-tier systems architectures.Assist in the configuration of web server settings.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Must possess a Secret Security Clearance4+ years of demonstrated experience in web design and development including mobile and responsive design in Drupal.Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operation support.Experience with software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.Experience working with various Operating Systems, including Ubuntu, Linux, Windows, and relational databases.Experience with Drupal Migrate API and migrations is required.Candidates with experience in PHP/Laravel/Symfony are strongly encouraged to apply.Vaultes does not provide visa sponsorship at this time.Nice to Haves:Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS.Experience with Developer/Build tools including GIT and Jenkins.Perks and BenefitsPaid time offPaid holidaysWork-from-home opportunities401k with matching incentiveCompany provided life insurance.Company provided short-term disability.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.This is a Full-Time, W2 position.
