What You Can ExpectAs a Texas Natural Gas Senior Trader in Houston, you will report to Director Natural Gas Trading and will manage physical and financial natural gas price risk in the Texas and Western Gulf Coast region.Manage physical and financial natural gas flat price and basis risk for Texas and Western Gulf Coast regionSupport origination and sales with pricingDeploy fundamentals-based trading strategiesWhat You'll BringA Bachelor's Degree in which you completed courses in finance, economics, mathematics or similar disciplineA minimum of 3 years of Natural gas trading experienceA minimum of 7 years of relevant experienceExtensive knowledge of Texas intra and interstate pipelinesKnowledge of Texas/Mexico cross border gas flow dynamicsHighly analytical thinker and understanding of probability and risksMust enjoy problem-solving and creating trading opportunitiesA strong working knowledge of North American natural gas fundamentalsClear and effective communicatorWillingness to engage in dialogue and debate with colleaguesCan work autonomously and be flexibleProficiency in Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL) or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)Additional DetailsThis role is eligible for our hybrid work policyMust be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testingMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range:
