Join us in sculpting the future of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, where every connection is a thread in the tapestry of progress.Position Responsibilities:Employ best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniquesWork directly with programs to ensure Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules in a lab environmentProvide comprehensive end-to-end computing support in closed environments from desktops to serversProvide a broad range of systems and application supportPrepare release planning for software and hardware across the system, including patch managementAdminister user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet security requirementsDevelop, design, integrate and maintain all computer applicationsEvaluate complex system's production readiness and supportabilityPerform the restoration of routine to complex computing service operationsIntegrate security solutions into information systemsProtect classified and proprietary informationExperience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:Required Education and Years of Experience:Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master's Degree or 6 years' related work experience)Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master's Degree or 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)Required Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph2+ years of experience working in a lab test, factory test, or similar test environment2+ years of experience with operating system (Windows and/or Linux) installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting2+ years of experience with hands-on support with IT Hardware such as familiar with setting up, configuring, modifying, and troubleshooting switches, routers, network equipment, high-performance computing equipment, server racks2+ years of experience working on classified networksActive Security+ or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start dateAble to travel 10% of the timeDesired Qualifications:Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliant with a Security+ certification or can obtain certification within the first 6 months2+ years of experience administering user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet network security requirements2+ years of experience with Linux Systems Administration2+ years of experience with MS Windows server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) administration on physical and VMWare virtual servers2+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 102+ years of experience designing & implementing IT Security SystemsExperience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2019, Windows 10, 20H2)Experience troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs)Experience with active directory (AD) to include applying domain group policiesExperience with a VMware virtual network environmentExperience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMwareExperience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support for Unix / Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/Oracle) server/workstationDevelop PowerShell scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assetsExperience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systemsExperience in Agile MethodologiesExperience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolutionExperience with System Backups, Network switch configurationExperience with upgrades and patches for operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) softwareExperience with information systems that comply with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide/Risk Management Framework (JSIG/ RMF) security requirements
