The business plan and market analysis suggest that if we collaborate to optimize the current GMP operation and thoughtfully pursue industry work, this pillar can provide service to our investigators and also generate revenue necessary to fund the research pillar. The GMP is a unique feature of our CGT portfolio and a core component of our overall initiative. The Cell and Gene Therapy Initiative represents a high degree of complexity across the entire organization, as this program spans inpatient and outpatient clinical services (clinical trial and standard-of-care), manufacturing and basic/translational/clinical research.
