The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.OVERVIEW:The Verification and Validation Engineer is responsible for contributing to the testing and documentation of the medical device software for RxSight’s Light Delivery Device. The primary duties of the Verification and Validation Engineer will include testing the software and developing or modifying test plans, reports, and automated tests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Developing test plans and reports

Software testing, including Verification, Validation, and automated tests.Documenting requirements, design, and technical descriptions throughout the software development lifecycle process.Verifying development and documentation compliance with RxSight procedures and all necessary software standards and regulations.Develop and validate necessary software and software tools to support RxSight products.Work with internal stakeholders on the usability of RxSight products and tools, following up with the appropriate documentation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Software testing.Knowledge of the SDLC.Prior automation testing experience is a plus.Knowledge of IEC 62304 is a plus.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:N/AEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.1-3 years of experience conducting verification and validation, preferably in the medical device field.Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.
