Join our dynamic team at Spectrum as an IT Support Manager.Education: The ideal candidate for the position of Information Technology (IT) Lifecycle Manager should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Certification: If you don't have a bachelor's degree, don't worry! We also welcome candidates with one or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CASP, and SEC +. Additionally, if you have the potential to obtain a Navy Validator Intermediate Level Certification within 6 months of joining, that's great! Having IAT Level I and IAM Level I certifications, or higher, as per DoD 8570.01M "Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program" is a definite plus.Required Qualifications:You should have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in IT, focusing on RDT&E and Business IT systems as well as the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.It is essential that you possess five (5) years of experience and in-depth familiarity with the various subject areas of C&A, particularly in the context of Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure.If you have previous experience as a Navy Validator for C&A efforts, it will be highly advantageous.Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial for effectively collaborating with personnel at all levels involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems.You must possess expert knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, including the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800 series, FISMA, DoD Instructions, DoN Chief Information Officer policies, and other relevant regulatory and compliance documents.A solid knowledge base of commonly used DoD cybersecurity tools such as Host Based Security System (HBSS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Tool, Nessus, Vulnerability Remediation Access Management (VRAM) tool, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is highly desired.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) is expected.Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in one of the following database management systems: Oracle, Sybase, or SQL.In-depth understanding of network security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) / Intrusion Protection System (IPS), proxy servers, access control systems, and web application firewalls, is highly valued.Familiarity with the DoN Application and Database Management System (DADMS)/DITPR-DON, eMASS, and NAV-IDAS online system management and procurement tools is a plus.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentWellness ResourcesStock Option Plan
