IT Manager is responsible for providing technical support and managing the systems at the lodge. Reporting directly to the Corporate IT Support Manager, they will also have a dotted line to the General Manager. Technical support includes workstation and printer installation and maintenance, administering the local server(s), monitoring the network, hardware performance, connectivity, and backups. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the budget planning process to define systems needs at the property.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork closely with on-property staff on systems related issues pertaining to the PMS, POSProactively monitor and administer the network, workstation operating systems, security system, safety, backups, and servers related to the systems within focus for the resortAssemble, disassemble, repair, install, and de-install computers and related equipment approved for use by the corporate officeSupervise and train employees' use of the systems to assure compliance with pre-defined company policiesParticipate in job-related training, classes, conventions, seminars, and personal knowledge enrichment opportunities as directedAdminister and enforce license agreements for compliance and budgetary accuracyWork closely with members of the IT teamMaintain accurate inventories of equipment while maintaining an organized, safe, and clean work areaAssist the corporate IT on projects and support-related issues in the field or at the corporate officePrioritize projects and support workload at the resortConduct regular training sessions to keep the knowledge base currentBasic Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience)Four years of experience in hybrid networking, server, virtual, and physical environmentsStrong support knowledge of O365, Microsoft Office, network technologies and concepts (TCP/IP, SMTP, and Ethernet, Wide Area Networks), desktop/mobile OS and hardware, as well as audio/visual support experienceDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteSuccessful completion of a criminal background check and drug screenDesired Qualifications & TraitsMicrosoft CertificationPrevious IT experience in hotel/resort/theme park industrySCCM administration, and a working knowledge of Cisco and server virtualizationStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAttention to detailEnthusiastic and positive energyMulti-tasking abilityPhysical RequirementsAble to lift up to 20 lbs.Able to bend, stretch, and twistAble to stand or sit for long periods of time
