Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:
In support of the company mission, the Sales Development Rep is tasked with engaging with our customers & prospects the right way, at the right time, with the right message to increase our market reach. Through outbound prospecting activities, the successful candidate will target, engage, qualify and pursue new leads. They will also be expected to work on developing relationships with any assigned customers to maintain a high standard of care. They will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams as needed to ensure timely and successful positioning of our solutions. All efforts are to provide our prospects with a first-class customer experience in pursuit of our organizational goals.
Conduct organized outbound call & email-based prospecting sequences within targeted market segments that build interest in iGrad solutions.
Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of use cases & value delivered by iGrad products so as to clearly articulate it to prospects.
Build an understanding of target accounts and engage them with an emphasis on personalization and relevance around iGrad products.
As part of the qualification process, contribute to and leverage a playbook to secure prospect interest in our solutions.
Operate as the lead point of contact for sales matters specific to your prospects and customers to ensure consistent & timely engagement on a regular basis.
Team with Sales Account Managers to facilitate orders from new and existing clients.
Effectively network within an account as needed to connect with stakeholders and contacts that enable decision making around our solutions.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly sales campaign initiatives.
Document and track all activity through web-based client relationship management (CRM) automation tools, including activities, setting tasks for follow-up, and lead tracking.
Deliver “Compassionate and Delightful” experience to all clients

Essential Education, Skills and Experience
One to Two years of customer-facing experience
Experience in B2B tech / SaaS and Educational sales are a plus
High School Diploma required; College experience strongly preferred
Experience working within a CRM environment
Self-confidence to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
Be able to perform with minimal supervision
