is looking for a compassionate, caring? Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
to function in an expanded nursing role under approved protocols to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care. This role provides care to infants and their families in Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Newborn Nursery, Pediatrics, and other hospital areas as needed under the direct supervision of the Medical Director. Responsible for collaboration, consultation, teaching and supervising. Qualifications: Education:
Graduate of Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program; M.S.in Nursing required Experience:
Minimum of two yrs in high risk neonatal care exp required Licensure/Certification/Registration:
RN license, approved to practice as a Neonatal Nurse Pract. By Board of Medical Examiners Required Certified by NCC Required Additional Skills Required:
Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Additionsl Skills Preferred:
Physical requirements: Stand and move around majority of the day; climb (to reach patient care equipment); lift patients and equipment; push/pull wheelchairs, carts and beds; sit occasionally; bend and stoop; manual dexterity; run; negotiate stairs; see, hear, speak, smell, and touch.
