Represents a product family of technical governance bodiesProvides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practicesGuides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworksRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesServes as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architectureAdvanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
