BE/BC Neurologist
to join a thriving and well-established General Neurology practice.Shore Medical Center was initially awarded the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center in 2005, and continues to hold this prestigious Certification recognizing Shore Medical Center’s strict adherence to national standards and guidelines that help diagnose and treat stroke patients faster and with better outcomes.The resources of the Shore Neurosciences Center enable specialists to address a wide range of neurological disorders and partners with Penn Medicine to provide emergent access to stroke and neurologic care through the Penn Medicine Telestroke Program.Job Specifics:The practice has been operational for over 31 yearsInpatient neurology consultationsPrimary Stroke Center1:4 call scheduleGrowing practice to include 2 Physicians, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and 1 Physician AssistantAs a UMMS provider, you can expect:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time offCME leave and CME allowanceRetirement plan - 403-B with employer matchLive and work close to the spectacular Chesapeake Bay in these ideal locations that offer family-friendly neighborhoods, gourmet restaurants, and shopping.This regional health care network serving Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, Kent, and Talbot counties includes the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, UM Shore Health Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, and UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required.Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS-affiliated acute care facility.Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.Additional Information
