Assembly Team Member 2nd Shift$16.50/HR 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm Monday - FridayOpportunity for Overtime!Potential job duties include:Perform a sequence of operations to ensure that quality products are produced and meet customer demand. Operate production machines, assemble product, trim, inspect, pack, count, weld, test and print to meet customer requirements. Unload, receive, material/inventory movement, picking, packing, shipping, and load outbound shipments.Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferredWMS/Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferredCompetencies and Skills:

Follow all safety and EH&S requirements. Use proper personal protective equipment. Keep machine guards and other safety devices in place at all times.Practice good housekeeping and 5S. Keep work area and equipment clean, safe and orderlySafely handle and transport materials, parts, supplies, etc., within department or cross-department.Perform serial number audits/counts as required?Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by SupervisorConduct accurate product counts, label, weigh parts and box finished productsWork to meet or exceed schedule/job standard and quality requirements.Accurately complete production paperwork, batch tickets, other required paperworkProvide suggestions and feedback to management.Ensure compliance with customer and business requirementsUtilize technology within operation (i.e. RF units or computer terminals). Performing any and all required system transactionsMaintain inventory accuracy by physical, and electronicComplete tasks within specified timeframeMaintain single-piece flow?maintaining a clean work spaceFollow Lean initiative and participate in continuous improvement activities?Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and personnel for a smooth workflow.Assemble various subcomponents used in firing mechanisms and firearm accessories?Utilize small machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks?Perform quality checks using hard gages, comparators, and other specialized equipment?Monitor gage calibration?Perform each assembly process to follow a standardized process?and identify and dispose of non-conforming parts in an appropriate mannerPerform routine line/range repairs that may include firearm disassembly and/or replacing suspect parts using a standardized process?Deliver firearm components to point of use following a standardized procedure?Use a pallet jack to move material within/between departmentsWrap and package firearms in compliance with all ATF regulations?Operate production and plastic injection machinesRun both manual jobs and automaticsEquipment includes: Ultra sonic welder, Bridgeport, pad printer, vibration welder, motorized or manual assembly devices, packaging, sorting, and hot stampingProperly maintain all hand tools / equipment usedMaintain inventory accuracy by physical movement and also electronic movement utilizing company software systems.Follow defined processes and identify opportunities to refine processes.Fulfill inventory requirements for Assembly, Manufacturing, outside contractors, other internalReport machine, tooling, equipment, and material problems to supervisor or Quality ControlAdvanced order fulfillment activities using company systems and following business processes. Includes allocation, picking, packing, prepping, rating, shipping, loading trucks etc.Labeling, scanning, receiving, and unloading products from containers, truckload, parcel, and internal transfer (including serialized product)General warehousing, movement of inventory physically and systematically. Accurately storing, tracking, countingPrepping, Staging, Wrapping, etc. for customer ordersSupport dock operations including truck loading.Read, comprehend and perform visual inspection per specific job instructionsNOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:

Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection required when on manufacturing floorThe use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.50 - $16.50
