Data Migration Lead

Position Description:As Data Migration Lead, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing the data migration activities for our SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. This role requires relevant technical knowledge, project leadership skills, presentation and communication competencies, project planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global delivery teams.Lead and oversee the end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy and plan, considering data quality, mapping, extraction, cleansing, and validation.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, functional consultants, and technical teams, to define data migration requirements and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.Follow established data migration processes, ensuring adherence to best practices, data governance standards, and security protocols.Lead the data migration efforts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful execution of migration activities.Monitor and report on data migration progress, identifying and mitigating risks or issues that may impact project timelines or data integrity.Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, related field or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or experience in a similar roleExcellent project leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with team members and other experts to identify and resolve data migration issues.Excellent communication and presentation skills, Good consulting skills are a pre-requisite, with business-facing consulting capability.Understanding of business Processes in SAP.Nice to Haves:Exposure to BODSExposure to Master Data Governance
