You'll be the bridge between traders and operations, ensuring smooth execution and efficiency. In this role, you'll be a key player in optimizing our FX operations and driving efficiency.Responsibilities:Enhance FX operations through process improvement projectsIdentify operational bottlenecks and implement solutionsAct as a subject matter expert on FX products, instruments, and settlementsCollaborate with others to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless trade executionAnalyze operational data to identify trends and proactively address potential issuesOther Responsibilities:Carrying out relatively complex, extensive, high-profile activities e.g. direct interaction with internal/external clients and more senior managementTechnically competent to act as first point of reference for day-to-day queries and serves as a liaison to related areasMay lead projects and/or train lower-level staffFocuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expertQualifications:Seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in capital markets operationsStrong understanding of FX products, trade lifecycles, and settlement procedures is preferredWorking knowledge of the Murex application (MX.3) is preferredExcellent analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying trendsProficiency in Excel; coding experience a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize effectivelyWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
