The Job/What You'll Do:We are looking for an experienced Investment Product Manager to join our Investment Product / Wealth Management Solutions team to help launch and lead new financial services and solutions for our clients. In this role, the Senior Manager will partner with cross-functional teams and work with management to define the vision, scope, and roadmap for the Wealth Management Services team.This role will collaborate across investment, distribution, and operations teams to develop new wealth management offerings and capabilities for financial advisors and their clients. The role will drive development through research, design, and final implementation, including positioning, distribution strategy, and campaign management.Preferred office location for this position is Concord, CA, but we will consider our Chicago, IL, Encino, CA, or Phoenix, AZ offices. This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days remote per week.Responsibilities:Work with leaders on the strategic direction and design of AssetMark's wealth management programs and servicesLead the development and deployment of new wealth management programs and services, products, and features:

Ownership of the complete product life-cycle with a keen focus on the overall client experience.Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Legal & Compliance) to support new service by developing detailed requirements, analyzing results, and synthesizing learnings

Serve as the subject matter expert for our wealth management capabilities, leveraging knowledge of AssetMark's investment products, services, and best practicesProvide day-to-day oversight, management, reporting, and troubleshooting of assigned wealth management programs and servicesAnalyze and monitor the industry, other TAMPs, and advisor platform trends to better align AssetMark's wealth management programs and services with those of our Broker Dealer partners and financial advisorsManage relationships and negotiate pricing with 3rd party firmsSupport sales, marketing, and product education effortsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Possess an understanding of portfolio construction, securities trading, and financial planning best practicesProven ability to think creatively and strategically as it relates to investment products and services to assess and meet client needs and profitability goalsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex issues to internal departments and external stakeholders.Strong presentation skills - both building presentations and delivering themA Self-Starter/Team Player Attitude: You are excited by a fast-paced environment and the accountability that comes with owning important products and projects.Comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving role in a growing organization. Ability to multi-task, change direction, and prioritize is a mustFamiliarity with wealth management segments, advisor personas, and trendsEducation & Experience:8+ years of experience in product development or management within the Financial Services or FinTech industries; knowledge of the advisory industry, financial products, and wealth management servicesA bachelor's degree is required; MBA, CFA charter, or CPA is a plusCompensation:The Base Salary range for this position is between $130,000-$150,000. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
