Position Summary:Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry, and nonprofit customers? We are seeking a project engineer to provide technical leadership and direct technical contribution for multiple projects related to aircraft, ground support equipment, and vehicle sustaining engineering. Apply today!Under the guidance of a senior engineer, this role will support and lead research, evaluation, reverse engineering, design, and test/validation of hardware for aircraft, support equipment, and vehicles.The ideal candidate will be self-driven, an excellent communicator, have a strong background in project engineering in defense or commercial spaces. The position will support multiple clients, primarily government.Minimum Qualifications:R1 Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Systems, or related technical field)Understanding of aircraft and/or complex systems design and operationAbility to create, read and interpret models, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reportsProficient in 3D CAD modeling softwareAbility to follow instructions and demonstrate attention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsSuccessful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary teamEffective written communication skillsDue to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
