Java Engineer

As a Java Engineer, You WillDesign, develop, solve problems, debug, evaluate, modify, deploy, and document software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end-user applications.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design, architecture, and development of APIs, UIs that are sophisticated, efficient, secure, highly available, and maintainable.Work closely with other developers (within the team and outside the team) and product owners to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.Give insights into ways to improve our processes and tools.Be highly motivated and maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude in a fast-paced environment.Follow and help cultivate consistent development best practices.Collaborate with Agile Champion and other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications.Provide thought leadership regarding implementation best practices.Assist in estimation and assessment of feasibility of features.Champion a collaborative spirit across multiple teams.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems Technology.3+ years of demonstrated ability in software development using Java and Java design principles, patterns, and RESTful API development.2+ years of experience in building/designing web applications using Spring framework.3+ years of JSON, XML, SOAP, HTTP, web services technologies, and data structure fundamentals, with experience in multi-threaded programming.Experience working with testing libraries (like JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JBehave).2+ years of experience with build (using Gradle, Maven, Ant, etc.) and deployments on application servers.2+ years experience writing SQL and PL/SQL including the fundamentals of data modeling and performance.
