Summary:Trailer Bridge is looking for an energetic go-getter to grow the sales efforts for Trailer Bridge. As a Logistics Sales Executive, you will have responsibility for developing and implementing new and more effective sales strategies, as well as setting and achieving sales targets and milestones. This role will support the President, Logistics and Branch Managers in developing sales across the US, Latin America, and other global markets.Essential Functions:Find & develop qualified leads (cold calling) in US, Puerto Rico, Latin America, and other global markets that add value for our customers.Continuously keep the sales pipeline full with deals at various types and stages, including new (qualified) leads/introductions and mid and late stage sales life cycle targets.Perform regular visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with Managements directives, to drive the business and grow the company’s revenue, market share, and profitability.Develop, execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales profit to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.Develop growth in key business segments for Puerto Rico, US and the Latin Americas.Build relationships at all levels and represent the company in a professional manner, including making presentations.Self-manage various administrative aspects including expense reporting in accordance with the company’s budget and travel policy.Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with other departments as needed.Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on company objectives, market research, and competitor analyses.Draw up sales activity and other related reports.Conduct independent research into the target consumer base.Meet with existing clients to discuss a company’s products and services and work to foster lasting relationships with the client base.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:5-7 years of related inside or outside sales experience, knowledge with logistics, both import and export, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to travel, at times with short notice.Ability to close business independently, although the management team/corporate support is readily available if needed.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, and marketing or related field, preferred.Possesses knowledge of competitive products and markets.Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods.Exhibits familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Communicates clearly and effectively.Demonstrates solid motivational and leadership skills.Demonstrates strong organizational skills.Supports the culture of Trailer Bridge by modeling the TB12 Core Values of a TB team member.BENEFITS WE CURRENTLY OFFER:Competitive base salaryOpportunity for internal career advancement401k, Life Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability InsuranceMedical/Dental coveragePaid Holidays & VacationEEO/AA Institution.
