They see the correlation between data science and machine learning and assist in bridging the gap between.What You’ll DoResponsible for taking prototype algorithms and models and turning them into customer-facing solutionsBuild solutions to novel problems in software development, data engineering, and machine learningBuild data pipelines; transform and convert data streams into structures needed for algorithm inputCollaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to better understand the customer, provide valuable input into functional design and usabilityEvaluate the efficiency of user experiences and ML algorithms, determining what data is needed and how to collect it, with an understanding of how these metrics are connected with the desired outcomesExperience You’ll BringYou bring an ability to see the big picture across multiple projects within the DS/ML workspace.You have coached and mentored peers while leading out on best practices.You have partnered with technical leadership to provide recommendations on solution design and architecture.RequirementsExtensive experience building production machine learning systems services as part of a product development teamExpert in BI tools like Tableau or Looker and MySQL/SQLExpert in Python, TensorFlow, and in-depth knowledge of data structures and database fundamentalsExperience building good code with speed and efficiency and balancing the trade-offs of quality vs speedExperience in mentoring and/or leadership of junior engineers and driving the consistency and delivery of their codeAbility to explain machine learning solutions to developers and other team members, regardless of their technical backgroundRequires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.
