The Utah Grizzlies Hockey Club is looking for an innovative sales executive to lead the Ticket Sales and Service Team.The Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service will serve as the strategic, revenue-driving, and retention lead for all ticketing initiatives. In this role, you will maximize ticket revenue and sell-thru, provide outstanding service, develop best practices, recruit, train and lead our sales teams to maximize revenue and provide our fans with first class service. This position reports to the President, Utah Grizzlies and will be a critically important member of the leadership team.This position is a full-time position based in West Valley City Utah.Key Responsibilities

Lead all season, group, and single ticket sales and retention efforts to obtain overall revenue and attendance goalsRecruit, train coach and empower a high-performing sales teamEstablish and implement forward-thinking sales strategies for pricing structure as well as sales processes, reporting, and presentationsCreate innovative programs to drive new business and expand audienceDevelop, lead and inspire a positive team culture focusing on cross collaborationEstablish and manage department P&L to ensure accuracy and year-to-date trackingDirect overarching retention strategy for season ticket holdersEstablish and refine opportunities and experiences provided to season ticket membersParticipate in community and industry-related events, conferences, associations that will enhance our reputation and potential for success while building new relationshipsOther duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceFive+ years in sports and entertainment sales or related experiential sales leadership role;Proven successful leadership experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Archtics and Salesforce CRMStrong experience in establishing and eclipsing ambitious revenue targetsUnderstanding of analytics, research, reporting, measurement, revenue modeling, valuation modeling and industry benchmarkingStrong leadership, problem solving, and organizational skillsAbility to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and throughout the communityExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influenceAbility to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment

Time Commitment

Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekends are required

Compensation
