Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. In taking this position, our Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants would receive:A great work environmentFlexible scheduling for both part-time and full time shiftsCompetitive pay with direct depositWeekly PayTraining and ongoing development programsPaid travel time between clients only and paid mileage Recognition programs - including Caregiver of the Month Aflac Insurance opportunities401K Retirement Plan with a Company MatchStarting Salary $19.00 an hour, $1.50 Weekend Pay Differential$500 Sign On Bonus for HHA and PCA (must work 90 days)HHA/PCA Responsibilities:Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)Ambulation/TransfersDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments.Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroomPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careRequirements for HHA/PCA :High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferredValid Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certificate One year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile
